Home Service Site Branding

Kozie is a lead-generation platform that connects homeowners with trusted service providers. The challenge? Designing a brand and experience that’s clean, credible, and motivating enough to convince users to complete a multi-step form—without losing trust or interest.

I led the development of the visual identity, logo, and site copy to make that experience feel seamless, valuable, and user-friendly.

Build immediate trust with first-time users

  • Appeal visually to a broad audience (primarily male homeowners)


Branding & Logo Design

The brand needed to feel reliable and results-driven—while still having personality. I wanted to explore playful concepts like paint strokes, but in a clean and modern way. I ultimately leaned toward something sleek, bold, and modern to suit our target audience.

Logo Concept

  • Iconography: Simplified home improvement visuals built into the mark for instant recognition

  • Style: Clean lines, geometric structure—more mature than playful, but still inviting. Bold font to stand out

  • Versatility: Designed to work well across web, mobile, and printed collateral

Color Palette

  • Blue: Trust, stability, and professionalism

  • Orange: Energy, urgency, and approachability

  • The combination is high-contrast and eye-catching—ideal for strong CTAs and scannability across platforms


UX Copywriting & Site Strategy

The copy had to do the heavy lifting—guide users, build trust, and drive them to complete the form.

Copy Goals

  • Incentivize form completion without overpromising

  • Highlight the benefit upfront: “Get matched to the right home service providers—fast”

  • Break long steps into simple actions

  • Keep tone informative, not pushy


Website Design

The UI is built with conversion and trust in mind.

  • Minimal, spacious layout that keeps focus on the form

  • Bold CTA buttons in branded orange for visibility

  • Clean typography and large form inputs for readability

  • Visual hierarchy that walks the user through benefits before asking for info


Social Media Presence

While temporary, our early-stage social media presence helped establish legitimacy at launch.

  • Content mix: Home tips, service inspiration, entertaining DIY memes

  • Design Tone: Simple, bold layouts that mirror the website and brand palette

  • Voice: Practical, lightly witty, informative—never salesy

The brand and UX flow came together to create a credible and motivating experience that users trusted and engaged with. Clear copy and recognizable branding gave Kozie the foundation it needed to grow while standing out in a competitive market.
